Diving Deep with The Paintbrush of Doom
A couple months ago, we got a Twitter notification that made our day! Brett Summersby [@MrS_Primary], a teacher at Denewood and Unity Academy in Nottingham, United Kingdom, tweeted out a lesson plan he created around Episode 6 of The Story Seeds Podcast.

Mr Sumersby’s four part lesson plan has listening, comprehension, vocabulary, story mapping, and drawing activities all tied to The Paintbrush of Doom episode which features Pura Belpré award-winning author Carlos Hernandez and twins Siri and Zarana. It includes Recalling the Main Events, Understanding New Vocabulary, Using Retrieval and Inference Skills prompts, and lots of ideas for other ways to use the podcast in your classroom.
