Workshop: Enter the Podverse

What do pillow forts, morse code, and cooking have to do with podcasts? Find out in this 75 minute workshop; a perfect introduction to the history, art, and science of podcasting for your curious kid who is interested in summer podcasting adventures!

Presenters:

  • Mick Sullivan, museum educator and host/creator of The Past and the Curious: A History Podcast for Kids

  • Chad Chenail, podcast producer, Mystery Recipe (from America’s Test Kitchen), Chompers, and Girl Tales

  • Sulaf, age 13, baker and featured child on Episode 9 of The Story Seeds Podcast Episode

Facilitators:

Pamela Rogers is a children’s librarian who is passionate about inspiring kids to express themselves through wordplay and who showcases their creativity on her podcast Buttons & Figs. Pamela is a regular columnist for School Library Journal where she writes about Kidcasts, and she is the mom of an 11 year old..

Sandhya Nankani is the creator and Executive Producer of The Story Seeds Podcast, a long-time curriculum and children’s media producer, founder of the award-winning children’s media studio Literary Safari, and the mom of an 11 year old.
